“Migration is the mother of all problems” says German Interior Minister

Press sources have reported on a shocking statement on migration made by Germany’s Interior Minister, Horst Seehofer.

German newspaper “Die Welt” talked to sources present in a meeting with Horst Seehofer Wednesday evening. According to the media reports, the Interior Minister described migration as the “mother of all problems”.

The Minister spoke about the horrific killing of a German citizen by illegal migrants. “In the first place, there is a brutal crime, then we are witnessing debates where the initial crime doesn’t even play a role”, he added.

Seehofer showed understanding for the demonstrators in Chemnitz Saxony and mentioned that when people are outraged, it doesn’t make them a Nazi.

This statement seems to contradict Merkel and here spokesman’s remarks about the protesters in Chemnitz as they referred to them as ‘neo-Nazis’ and ‘xenophobes’.

After a 35-year-old German-Cuban man was murdered by migrants from Syria and Iraq, anti-migration rallies of concerned citizens took place in the town.

A Syrian and an Iraqi man have been arrested and are in custody on suspicion of murder. A third suspect is being sought since Tuesday.
